You book from your phone and someone else deals with the charger. With EZAR EV a verified pilot comes to your address, takes your electric car to the nearest compatible station, charges it and brings it back to the same spot — tracked live, fare locked before you confirm.
Mobile EV charging means the charging comes to you rather than you driving to it. The term covers two quite different services, and it is worth knowing which one you are buying: either a charging unit travels to your parked car, or a driver takes your car to a charger and brings it back.
EZAR EV operates the second model. We do not send a van with a battery to charge your car where it stands. We send a background-verified pilot who drives your EV to the nearest grid-connected station that matches its connector, charges it there, and returns it to the bay it started from. The outcome for you is the same — you never drive to a charger and you never wait beside one — but the mechanism matters, so we say which one it is.
Pickup · Charge · Return
A van carrying a battery pack or a generator parks beside your EV and charges it where it stands. It is genuinely useful for roadside recovery, event parking and remote breakdowns.
Where it struggles · The economics are hard in a dense Indian city: the van moves a limited amount of energy per trip, it needs somewhere to park beside your car, and the energy itself costs more because it has been transported. Coverage is thin and per-session pricing is high.
A verified driver collects your EV, takes it to a grid-connected public station, charges it at that station's tariff, and returns it to the same spot. This is what EZAR EV does.
Where it struggles · You are without the car for the length of the trip, so it suits a window when the car would be parked anyway — a working day, a meeting, an evening at home. It is not a roadside rescue.
Charging at a fixed station means paying that station's tariff for energy straight off the grid. Energy carried to you in a battery has to cover the cost of carrying it, and that lands in the price.
A public DC fast charger delivers far more power than a transportable unit can practically carry, so the session is shorter — and the session happening while you are elsewhere means its length stops being your problem.
Indian city housing is vertical, and apartment basements are where EVs park. A pilot can walk into a basement and drive a car out; a charging van usually cannot get in or park beside the bay.
Nothing is installed at your building, no load has to be sanctioned, and no society resolution is needed. The service works the day you download the app.
| Charging it yourself | With EZAR EV | |
|---|---|---|
| Your time per charge | 60–120 min queuing and waiting | Zero — you never leave what you're doing |
| Finding a free charger | Guesswork across three apps | We route to a live, connector-matched slot |
| Cost visibility | Known only after the session ends | Full fare locked before you confirm |
| Vehicle security | Parked unattended at a public station | OTP handover, insured trip, live GPS |
| Range anxiety | Plan every trip around the battery | Charge on schedule, not on panic |
| Record keeping | Loose receipts, manual expensing | Itemised digital receipt per charge |
Your car still gets charged either way. The difference is who spends the hour doing it — you, or an EZAR EV charging valet.
