Your electric car is collected from your door, charged at the nearest compatible station and returned to the same spot. No charging point at your building, no society approval, no electrical work — the handover is authorised by a one-time OTP at both ends.
Doorstep EV charging is a service that starts and ends at your address. With EZAR EV, a background-verified pilot comes to your home, office or basement parking, takes your electric car once you share a one-time OTP, charges it at the nearest station matching its connector, and returns it to the exact spot it was collected from.
It is not a charger installed at your door. That distinction is the whole advantage: installing a metered point in a shared apartment basement needs a society resolution, a separate sanctioned load and a contractor, which is a project measured in months. A doorstep pickup needs none of it and works on the first booking.
Custody transfers on a code, both ways
The most common pickup we run. A pilot walks down to your allotted bay, takes the car on your OTP and brings it back to the same bay. Nothing is installed, no load has to be sanctioned, and your society does not have to pass anything.
Add your gate instructions once and they carry across every future booking. Where the society requires it, the pilot's name, photo and vehicle details are visible in your app to share with the security desk before they arrive.
Book a pickup for the middle of your working day, when the car would be sitting in the building's parking anyway. Reception or your facilities desk can hold the OTP if you are in a meeting.
Useful even with a home charger: a second EV that outgrows one socket, a fast top-up before a long drive, or any week when overnight charging did not happen.
You see the assigned pilot's name, photo and rating, and their live position on the map as they approach. Pilots clear KYC, licence and background document checks before their first trip.
The car changes hands only when you share a one-time OTP. Without that code the trip cannot start — the code authorises the handover, not the person holding it, so you can nominate a family member, your security desk or an office reception.
Live map, live charging power, live battery percentage and running cost. Cover applies from the moment the key is handed over until it is back with you, and an in-app SOS reaches an agent who already has your booking open.
The car returns to the spot it was collected from and a second OTP closes the trip. The itemised receipt — distance, energy, service fee — is generated from the fare that was locked before you booked.
Six things stand between your car and anything going wrong, and every one of them is on by default, on every single trip. No settings to find.
Your car changes hands only when you read out a one-time code from the app. No code, no pickup — and the same check runs again when it comes back.
Every pilot clears ID, licence and background checks before their first trip. You get their name, photo and rating in the app before they arrive.
Follow your car on a live map from the moment it leaves until it is parked back — pickup, drive, charging session and the drive home.
The full fare is calculated and locked on screen before you confirm. The receipt matches it to the rupee. Nothing is added afterwards.
An in-app SOS reaches a real EZAR EV agent who already has your trip on their screen — no queue, no explaining it from the start.
Your car is covered under our commercial policy from the moment the key is handed over until it is back with you, and every trip keeps a full timestamped log.
If you live in a bungalow or row house with your own sanctioned connection, a home charger is the cheapest energy you will ever put in the car and you should have one. We are not trying to talk anyone out of that.
Doorstep charging is for the much larger group who cannot install one: shared basements, open compound parking, street parking, rented flats, and buildings where common-area billing has not yet passed from the developer to the society. For that group the realistic alternative is not a home charger — it is a public station and the hour that comes with it.
